Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using InkedUp (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. InkedUp is operated by InkedUp Ltd, registered in Northern Ireland.
These terms apply to all users of the Platform, including clients booking appointments and artists listing their services. Additional terms may apply to artist accounts and are incorporated here by reference.
The InkedUp service
InkedUp provides an online marketplace that connects clients with tattoo artists. We facilitate the booking process but are not a party to the agreement between client and artist. We do not employ the artists listed on the Platform.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes where possible.
User accounts
To make or receive bookings, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information when registering
- Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
- Be at least 18 years old, or have parental consent where required by local law
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Bookings and payments
When you book an appointment through InkedUp, you enter into a direct agreement with the artist. InkedUp collects a deposit on behalf of the artist at the time of booking. Deposits are generally non-refundable except in the circumstances described in our Cancellation Policy.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before an appointment may be eligible for a deposit refund at the artist's discretion. Cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment are not eligible for a refund.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. InkedUp does not store payment card information.
Artist responsibilities
Artists listed on InkedUp agree to:
- Maintain accurate portfolio images and pricing information
- Hold all required licences and insurance to practise tattooing in their jurisdiction
- Operate from a registered and inspected premises where required
- Honour confirmed bookings except in exceptional circumstances
- Respond to client enquiries and booking requests promptly
- Comply with all applicable health and safety regulations
InkedUp reserves the right to remove any artist from the Platform who breaches these obligations or receives sustained negative feedback from clients.
Prohibited conduct
You must not use InkedUp to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
- Circumvent the Platform to avoid paying InkedUp fees
- Scrape, copy, or reproduce Platform content without permission
- Interfere with the operation of the Platform or its infrastructure
- Engage in any unlawful activity
Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
Intellectual property
Tattoo designs and portfolio images remain the intellectual property of the artist who created them. By uploading images to InkedUp, artists grant InkedUp a non-exclusive licence to display those images on the Platform for promotional purposes.
The InkedUp name, logo, and platform design are owned by InkedUp Ltd and may not be used without our written permission.
Limitation of liability
InkedUp is a marketplace and is not responsible for the quality of tattoo services provided by artists. We do not guarantee that artists are licensed, insured, or qualified beyond what they self-declare on the Platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InkedUp Ltd's liability to you is limited to the amount you paid in fees to InkedUp in the 12 months preceding the relevant claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
